2025 Committee Announcement

We are thrilled to introduce our committee members for South Maitland Football Club’s 2025 season!

Volunteers are the foundation of any community football club; the backbone, and ensure sustainable growth year on year. This year, we have a strong and diverse team of 24 committee members, a testament to our strong community and vision. With one committee member for every 10 players, we are well-equipped to support our players, staff, and the broader community in 2025 and beyond.

As we enter this new season, we bid farewell to one of our founding Executive Committee members, Aden Maher, who is stepping away to further his coaching career as the PYL Girls Under 15s Head Coach at Maitland FC. Aden’s contributions over the last four years have been invaluable, from guiding our Under 16s Interdistrict side in their inaugural year, helping five young talents from his original squad make First Grade appearances. Aden also was great in kicking off our women’s football, coaching our Friday Night All Age Women’s in their first season. We thank Aden for his service, and the best of luck in his future endeavors. We hope to see him around the club next year!

As we say goodbye to Aden, we are excited to welcome Joe Atkins as our new Vice President. Joe has been with South Maitland since the club’s inception, and his background in business management will be a crucial asset to our operations. We are looking forward to the growth and success that Joe’s expertise will bring to the club.
